The good folks at Multiintech have been using CMS Made Simple since early 2006
It all started because I love to know how things work, open them up and look inside.
I used to take all my toys apart as a child and find the hidden treasures of their inner workings, of course then I would put them back together and have fun playing.
I would find something interesting in the trash and wonder how it was made, maybe take it home and pull it apart, fix it or make something out of it's parts.
So I discovered web sites and started doing the same thing to them, taking them apart and learning how they were built, it turned out to be so interesting to me that I started building my own from scratch or rework some free templates I found on the internet.
Soon it became tiresome to have to change each menu on every page just to add a new templates page, so the search for something that would be easy to use my existing templates with and generate the menus automatically.
Why I chose CMS Made Simple
My journey lead me to a site that host demos of some CMS's [content management systems] I tried quite a few of them, starting with the ones considered the most popular.
I found that some of them just didn't work the way I had hoped, using something like a form to be filled out to add a style sheet or just to change a color, having come from doing them all by hand in notepad I found this rather strange.
Some even required you to know programming languages like PHP, all I wanted to do was put my existing HTML and CSS into the system and generate menus on the fly, some even require you to tell it to make a menu which you would think it should do on it's own.
When I finally found CMS Made Simple I knew it was the system for me, auto menu generation, I mean here was one you didn't have to tell it to make the menu from all your pages, hell you have to tell the page not to be in the menu if you want to hide it for a while.
So I was off and running, making even more templates with the ease I'd always dreamed of and never looking back or even trying any other system.
