And because the news was installed you can do all kinds of things with it, it was turned into the Blog module as that has some more features but you can use News for a Blog if you wanted to.

I've made changes to this template, no more image for the shadow box, used CSS3, made the side box wider and content narrower, added breadcrumbs, top, next, previous links.

This is the third column, which can be used in many different ways. For example, it can be used for comments, site news, external links, ads or for more navigation links. It is all up to you!
